The Dutch Stylist provides a unique styling service that adds living plants in pots to give your space a final, lively touch.
These plants not only bring fresh energy to your home but also enhance your professionally styled space in a cost-effective way. They can attract more buyers and potentially boost your sale price.
Each Plant Styling package includes 6 weeks of plant rental, along with installation, collection, and ongoing maintenance. The Dutch Stylist will need access to your property throughout the contract period to ensure proper care and upkeep of the plants.

Is property styling worth the investment?
Professional styling is a proven way to increase your property’s sale price. The return on investment is usually around 10 x the cost of your styling, but can be also be far more.
Our stylists are experienced and skilled at using various strategies to enhance the appeal of your property and attract interest from as many potential buyers as possible. Real estate agents from all around Sydney recommend our services because they know we deliver results.
Where do your furniture and accessories come from?
Our range is sourced both locally and internationally and includes custom made pieces, specially commissioned for styling.
Does someone. need to be onsite during the installation?
Once we have access to your property, no one needs to be present during installation. In fact, we are most efficient working in an undisturbed environment and it's always best for you to view the final transformation in its entirety!
What if we don’t like what you’ve chosen?
Whenever we style a property our team looks at it from an objective and strategic view. We decide what items to include based on factors such as space, light, layout and purpose, as well as what will most appeal to your target market. We hope that you’ll trust our judgement but, of course, if there’s something you feel is not right, let us know and we will work with you to get a perfect final result.

What are your payment terms?
Full payment is required at time of confirmation and to secure your preferred or earliest available installation date. Payment can be made via bank transfer.

1. Validity and Acceptance: This proposal remains valid for a period of 10 days. Acceptance must be received within this timeframe to secure your booking.
2. Payment Terms: Full payment is required prior to installation. We accept payment via direct deposit and cash.
3. Rental Period and Extension: The rental period is specified in the pricing schedule. We reserve the right to collect items at any time once the property is sold, and no refund will be issued for early collection. Rental extensions, if applicable, will be detailed in the pricing page, and payment is required in advance.
4. Access and Installation Rescheduling: The property owner is responsible for providing exclusive access on the installation date. Failure to provide suitable access may result in rescheduling, incurring a fee of $500 +GST.
5. Arrival Timing and Photo Shoots: Arrival times are estimates and subject to change. Upon request, a notice text message prior to arrival can be provided. We recommend scheduling a photo shoot for the day following installation, though completion times cannot be guaranteed due to unforeseen delays.
6. Styling Selection and Changes: Styling selections are at the discretion of The Dutch Stylist. Personal preferences must be communicated before installation. Changes to styling after installation incur an additional charge of $550.
7. Hooks and Additional Services: The property owner authorises the insertion of hooks for artwork or mirrors. Hooks remain post-collection.
Additional services beyond our original styling scope of works will incur a $200 +GST per hour charge.
8. Occupied Properties and Use of Items: A minimum spend of $3,000 applies for occupied properties. All furniture and homewares are for display purposes only and are not to be used in any way. The property owner has full responsibility for damaged or soiled goods and cleaning or replacement costs will apply for any items that are used or damaged upon collection. Separation of personal items during the furniture collection is the responsibility of the homeowner, we cannot be held responsible for incidental items being mistaken for ours and these items will not be returned or replaced.
8.1 Bond for Occupied Properties: A Bond of $1,000 will be held as security for the items that remain on the property for display purposes and will be released upon collection. All damaged or soiled items will be cleaned or replaced using the “Bond” that will be provided.9. Tenancy and Cancellation: The property must not be tenanted during this agreement. Unauthorized occupancy may result in legal action. A fee of $500 is applicable for cancellations or postponements made within 24 business hours. Notification must be provided in writing to us prior to 24 hours from the scheduled installation date. Notably, weekend days are not considered applicable in this context. For installations scheduled on a Monday, notification is required by the close of business on the preceding Thursday.
10. Insurance, Liability, and Damage: Insurance covers fire damage and theft during the agreement. Property owners are liable for damage costs. The Dutch Stylist is not responsible for damage, loss, injury, or related costs.
All care is taken to avoid unnecessary property damage, however The Dutch Stylist bears no responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or cost relating to the goods and services provided. The property owner indemnifies The Dutch Stylist for any claims, actions, demands or suits arising out of or connected with the use, malfunction, defect or breakdown of the goods or services.
11. Ownership and Termination: Goods remain the property of The Dutch Stylist. Termination may occur for unpaid amounts, breaches, or default. In case of termination, the property owner is liable for associated costs, and legal action may be taken to recover replacement costs if goods cannot be repossessed.
12. Plant Styling: A fee of $220 applies for cancellation of Plant Styling up to 48 hours prior to installation. No pro rata refund for early sale or change of mind. Hire period is 6 weeks from installation date. Optional extension of the hire period is available and incurs a weekly extension rate, calculated from end of hire period, charged at 25% off the original quoted rate. Plants are subject to availability and can be substituted, as required. Access must be provided for maintenance of plants at all times, on at least a weekly basis (9am to 6pm) otherwise additional Key Collection fee of $110 will be charged. Failure to provide access or relocation of plants from original installed location, contributing to the damage or death of provided plants, may result in a full replacement cost of plant charged to the client, at the sole discretion of The Dutch Stylist. The Dutch Stylist reserves the right to collect its stock upon sale, exchange or withdrawal of property from the market.
